Google Keep

Yikes! I can't believe I forgot to add Google Keep. It's got some really interesting features that I find aren't well known and, of course, the ability to make lists and take notes. So let's get talking about it!

Transcribe Text from an Image - in Many Languages

Yes! Unbelievable, right?

  1. Start by taking a new note with an image.

  2. Click on the photo icon to upload a photo to Keep.Google.com.

  3. Click on the image.

  4. Click on the 3 vertical dots at the bottom of the image ("snowman").

  5. Click on "Grab image text."

  6. The text will appear below the image. You can copy and paste it to insert it in other places.

It can work with a variety of languages, however it does seem to get confused if you have multiple languages in one image.
